Known as one of the world’s most challenging and spectacular treks, the Kokoda Track (also known as the Kokoda Trail) is 96 kilometres of history, hills and mud. A story of ‘Courage’, ‘Endurance’, ‘Mateship’ and ‘Sacrifice’.

A proud supporter of many local indigenous PNG communities, you can be assured that not only will you walk with one of the most established and reputable organisations in Australia, you will also be walking the Kokoda Track with one of the most socially responsible.

Kokoda and Papua New Guinea is not where the adventure stops with Getaway Trekking though! With trek itineraries to Everest and Annapurna Base Camps in Nepal and the majestic rolling hills of Thailand, as well as Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, East Africa and The Kimberley Region in Western Australia, there is a plethora of life changing trekking adventures on offer for the beginner right up to the most experienced trekkers.
