We pride ourselves on thoroughly researching our destinations before taking them to the public. Along the way, we’ve discovered some pretty adventurous people who love the idea of coming into the unknown with us.
In the last couple of years we’ve had several exploratory treks to new destinations. The most recent – only last month – was along the Kappa Kappa Track in Papua New Guinea. 7 brave Australians and 21 brilliant national support crew covered 188 kilometres over a 14,500 elevation in 12 days. We also spent some time researching areas in Rabaul and Kavieng and found some fabulous and exciting options for those who want to extend after their trek, or just take a stand alone trip to learn more about this magnificent country.
2010 is no different. Our principal, Kevin Mansfield has spent time in East Timor assisting in rebuilding infrastructure after the invasion. We are also looking at exploratory treks within Vietnam and are examining adding Laos to the trips we already run there and in Cambodia. We will provide more information about this trek soon. Watch this space.....!
