Kevin has over 28 years experience in trek leading, instructing and helping people achieve their full potential. As a world class competitor in White-water canoeing he understands the meaning of hard work and dedication. His commitment to achieve his own personal best led him to win over 35 Australian and International titles.
He has inspired, motivated and supported countless young people throughout his teaching years before turning his expertise to the corporate and trekking world for a new challenge.
Kevin has a unique ability to get people to work together, communicate and problem solve. He has a vast repertoire of team building activities and through his easy going and enthusiastic nature will produce positive outcomes for your group. He has facilitated the Singapore Police Home Command in a number of leadership and behavioural change programs.
A passion for bush tucker and survival skills, combined with over 30 years exploration and trekking experience throughout the most remote areas of Australia has given Kevin unsurpassed knowledge in Survival techniques. Over the last 3 years he led groups of the famous Ghurkha soldiers on training expeditions through the rugged Kimberley area of Western Australia. This program will continue in 2010.
Kevin is responsible for management on the track, including trek leader training. Getaway Trekking has an unsurpassed team of trek leaders due in no small part to the experience and skills he posesses. Kevin uses the outdoors as his medium. H e takes you out of your comfort zone, challenges and supports you through a range of experiences that will empower you and your team.
